Don't you just love....

My dishes?

I do!

The McKnight Christmas!

We had a fantastic Christmas this year! My brother, Amanda, and Maddie came in on the 22nd and stayed until Christmas Eve. We had such a great visit with them. Maddie is such a sweetie. I wish we lived closer to them. I would love for Maddie to know me better...and be able to spoil her more! Chloe would love it too...i could see lots of sleep overs in our future! We all opened presents the night they got here...my brother was not waiting! I got a platter that goes with my new red and white polka dot dishes! I can't wait to serve up some green beans in it...or whatever I cook! The girls played their hearts out and did quite a bit of singing for us! Trinity had double ear infections, so she was a bit fussy...but she takes being sick like a champ!
On Christmas eve, we ate tamales at mimi and opas house, baked funfetti cookies for santa, went to Starbucks and then looked at Christmas lights! That is our Christmas Eve tradition. Chloe was so excited for it!
Christmas morning was so great! We woke up...late! Chloe was so excited to see that Santa brought her some great new toys. She got a nintendo DSi, a zhuzhu pet, every disney princess barbie, some games, a chalkboard/whiteboard, clothes, and several other fun items! Trinity got tons of new toys, baby dolls, and clothes! Curt got a blu-ray player, Oakleys, jeans, a shirt, and some hats! I was very spoiled this year! I got the new Uggs i have been drooling over, a northface jacket, and.......an awesome new camera! Curt got me a Canon Rebel T1i DSLR camera....he totally spoils me!
We then went to mimi and opas to open even more presents and eat lunch. After lunch we headed to Big Spring to see Curts Granny and family, and then we were off to Nana's in Dumas. It was an extremely long day! I was exhausted along with my children!
We could not have asked for a more blessed Christmas!

Above all of the present and traditions...we do know the true meaning of celebrating Christmas. We know that Jesus was born on that day, of a virgin, as the son of God. God came to this Earth in human flesh to die. He is our saviour. We love our Lord. Glory to the newborn king!

Christmas open house

Tonight was the Christmas open house at Chloe's school. She was really looking forward to tonight. She had a project on display and Santa was going to be there! We took baths before we went, which was nice to get out of the way, got Chloe dressed up, Trinity in her (hand-me-down) pj's...and headed to the church. We saw Chloe's pine cone Christmas tree, ate a cookie, and stood in line to see Santa. Chloe went straight to him and sat in his lap for pictures...There was a lady standing next to him telling him the kids names before they got up there, so Chloe thought that he knew her name! Trinity was not as excited to see him. She screamed. I had Mimi give her to Santa anyway, not to be a mean mom, but because I think that even the crying pictures with Santa are adorable. I am pretty sure my mom has a picture of my brothers tonsils with Santa!

You better not pout...you better not cry

I'm telling you why....
Santa Claus is coming....to town!!!!
Chloe wanted to talk to Santa this year. Her Nana waited in line with her for a while, so I made it a point to tell Chloe that since they waited in line for such a long time that she WILL talk to him. Apparently, that wasn't a problem! She walked right up to him and told him that she wanted some barbies and a DS...pink! She would not sit ON his leg, but had no problem with sitting on his chair right next to him. Trinity was not as thrilled about the situation. She stared at him for the longest time, then began to cry. We had our picture taken as a family with Santa as well, but unfortunately my eyes were closed in it...oh well...it still turned out to be a good pic of everyone else!
Merry Christmas!

Trinity's Birthday Party

Trinity's birthday party was on Saturday night. It was such a wonderful gathering. Trinity was a little fussy and stopped suddenly when we all started singing Happy Birthday to her...the first picture shows her expression she had while we sang. When we gave her her cupcake, she touched it and observed it for a little bit. Once she had her first bite of the icing, she was sold! She ate the entire cupcake and really didn't get all that messy. Chloe had hot pink icing on her first birthday cupcakes and when she was done her clothes were stained along with her skin. It was a huge mess. I guess I learned my lesson. Trinity had white cake with white icing. Her Nana gave her a little taste of chocolate cake too! She cleaned up quickly and we went straight to the presents. She helped open them, but was totally loving the paper instead of the actual gift. I was enjoying the gifts while she tore up paper! Trinity received such awesome presents! Tons of clothes, 2 pairs of shoes, a walk behind baby stroller, a ball popper, a walk behind grocery cart, and lots of hugs and kisses! It was a successful birthday party, and when it was all said and done, Trinity was exhausted! The last picture is of her snuggled with daddy in her new pajamas! Happy Birthday Trinity, your birthday party was a dream come true and an answered prayer!
