Dorothy and a Strawberry!

This Halloween was very fun! Chloe dressed up as Dorothy and Trinity was a strawberry! Trinity was dressed up for a total of 25 minutes for pictures and one house! I took her over to my friend Michelle's house. Michelle had a very special treat for the girls and Chloe fell in love with Michelle! It was fun!
Chloe and I took Trinity home after that and headed to her school's fall festival! We trick-or-treated at the trunks of different cars and then played some games! She had a blast and looked precious! After the festival, I took her to Mimi and Opa's house to get a treat and then a few places after that! Britt called and told us about an amazing house that I "had to take Chloe to!". We did and I am so glad! This house was decked out and the theme was The Wizard of Oz! Since she was Dorothy, I got some really cute pics!

Chloe also got an early birthday present today! We gave her the trampoline she has been wanting early because we want her to get it before it gets too cold out! She saw it and said "A Jumperline!"...To be honest, her version makes much more sense to me!
Happy Fall Y'all!

Chloe-isms!

Curt and I were talking about how beautiful it was outside and how suprising it was that it wasn't windy...
chloe: you know why its not windy...right?
me: no, Chloe...why?
Chloe: Because the trees are asleep today!
me: oh...so when its windy they are awake and moving around and when they are asleep there is no wind...right?
Chloe: yep!
(I actually think she has thought long and hard about this!)

Me: Chloe you need to be patient...
Chloe: I know...patience is one of the fruits of the spirit
Me: What? Curt...come listen to her!
Chloe: patience is a fruit of the spirit and so is self control, joy, gentleness, happiness...
ME: wow...I did not know that you knew that!

Tessa: You got ta-nilla ice cream?
Chloe: no...Tessa, can you say Ba-nilla...ba ba ba banilla?

I was talking to Andrea on the phone...her computer crashed and she wanted Curt to look at it!
Me: Curt do you have a monitor
Curt: no...but Wes has a monitor i bet we can borrow it...
Chloe gets up and leaves the room
Wes: (as he comes in the room) What does Andrea need?
Me: What?
Chloe: I asked Wes if daddy could borrow his thermometer! (very proud of herself!!)
Me: No...monitor! hahahahahahahah

Tutu Fabulous!

A friend from work made the most adorable red tutus for my girls! It was so special to receive a gift from someone at work that would look adorable on my sweet babies! Thank you Lisa, what a blessing!
I took a few pics today of them wearing them. I am hoping to take the perfect Christmas card photo so this is the first of many red tutu photo shoots! I didn't get any good ones of them together!

Today I had the opportunity to take Chloe lunch at school! It was fun to show up at school, McDonalds in hand, and see the look on her face! Totally fun! She ate her nuggets and ice cream sandwich, then looked at me and said "please don't leave until the teacher signs my name." I immediately started looking around the room for the pen and paper, while trying to figure out why her teacher would be signing her name after lunch! Then I look over at Chloe and she does this:

Wow! I love seeing her learn! And since my Aunt Gayle is an extremely talented interpreter, I thought she might be a little proud!

FLU plus a few chloeisms!

Yes...The flu has hit our home. H1N1 to be exact. I took Chloe to the doctor on Wednesday and she cried the entire time in the waiting room. When the doctor finally came in and told me what she had, she stopped crying and I started. I guess from watching the news, swine flu is a scary thing. Really, she has not been miserable at all. She is mostly miserable from not being able to go to school. I am thankful for a mild case! When we left the doctors office, I immediately called my mom, crying, telling her to call her doctor and get tamiflu. Mom CAN'T get sick! When we got off the phone, I heard Chloe's little pathetic voice say "Am I gonna be okay, mommy?"...I figured I should calm down!
Trinity woke up Thursday with fever. Curt called the doctor and they just called in Tamiflu for her assuming that she probably has it too. Last night, while trying endlessly to get her to sleep, we noticed that her gums are very swollen and white. The poor baby, on top of everything else, is cutting her top middle teeth. I feel so sad for her.
So, that is what has been going on here.
chloeism: "Mommy, I throwed up, but its okay because it was pink, and that is my favorite color!"
Chloeism:
Me: Curt I think Chloe has the flu because our neighbors have it.
Chole: in a very whiny voice..."You mean....I got that shot for nothin'"....
Chloeism: "Trinity, be quiet, I am trying to do something...now compromise!"....
