This little baby....

Has a tummy ache. Poor sweet girl. She has thrown up the last two nights after she falls asleep. We have washed her sheets several times, along with several sets of pajamas, and plenty of blankets! Today she ran a fever of 100.3. The fever broke after some Tylenol and a nap. You can just look in her eyes and tell she doesn't feel good. She will stay with her Mimi tomorrow and then hopefully be ready to go back to Susans Wednesday! She amazes me...a little tummy ache and fever can't slow her down a bit!

But on a lighter note, she also got her first pair of shoes yesterday! Thank You Mimi!
Aren't they cute?! And they squeak too!

Show and Tell!

This is what Chloe took to her first "Show and Tell" at school this year! On Thursday night we had her practice for us! This is what she told us.
"I brought a headband because I love headbands. I brought a baby doll because I like to play with them. This is a picture of my baby sister, Trinity Grace. This is goggles because I am a really good swimmer and I can swim all the way across the pool. This is a ring because I love jewelry, and this is a picture of me and my best friend Adison. And I brought this microphone because I am a really good singer!"

Chloe's First Day of School!

I know that Chloe is not in kindergarten yet, but I consider today as her first day of school. She will be in pre-k this year five days a week. Starting today, she will attend school Monday-Friday of every school year until she graduates high school. Wow...its a big day for her! I was fortunate to get to take her this morning. I am so proud of my daughter. She is courageous, outspoken, sweet, caring, funny, smart, independent little girl with a huge personality. I am so blessed to be her mommy. I know Mrs. Cindy will love Chloe this year!
Our converstation this morning:
Me: Okay Chloe, how do we act at school?
Chloe: Be nice, don't hit, and......what else mommy?
Me: Follow all directions from your teacher.
Chloe: Oh...yes I know that. But mommy, I don't know all the kids.
Me: Well what do you do when you don't know someone?
Chloe: tell them what thier name is?
Me: ASK them what thier name is and tell them your name.
Chloe: Yes...then we will be best friends!
ME: Well....(thinking about what to say)....yep!
Chloe: Can we go now...its taking soooo long!

She was ready to get there! Yay!

Aaah! The life...

How comfortable does she look?! And...how great is it that she can hold her own bottle now?! Trinity is getting so big! She pulls up on everything and is starting to mimic sounds we make. She has to go to the doctor today because her nose has been running for about a week and she has been tugging at her ears. I hope it isn't an ear infection :(

ready...okay!

Chloe told us the other night at dinner that she was going to be a "Cheeleader"...as she said this, her arms instantly flew up in to a high "V". We have several cheerleaders in our family...its in her blood! I can't decide if this is a good thing or a bad thing. All i can say is...she better be a sweet, kind, caring, loving, friendly cheerleader...because drama will not be tolerated by this mama!
Her daddy took her the the first MHS game of the year. I suprised her with a MHS cheerleader uniform. She looked at it and ran...not knowing how to show her enthusiasm! She looked adorable!

What's Up?!

Wow! I have been really bad at this lately!
Let's see...what has been going on with us lately?...
1. Trinity is pulling up on everything! She crawls anywhere she wants and then tries to pull up on something and stand. She will try to pull up on a wall...and is still unsuccessful at that! So far, we are in the clear on injuries, but we know that it is bound to happen. Every time we put her on the floor, she crawls directly for the fireplace...the same forbidden place that Chloe busted the bridge of her nose and had to get stitches. I have a small fear of fireplaces now!
2. Chloe is all registered for school! She will start pre-k at Discovery School this year. She doesn't start until the day after labor day, which is fine because now I have time to find that perfect little backpack! She will be in the owls class and can't wait to meet her teacher!
3. Chloe started dance class! She will be in ballet, tap and tumbling! She is in the red class, so mimi has found her tons of very sweet red leotards and tutus! She is in the same class as Adison, so she is very happy! There is a cheerleading class offered on Fridays, and I am thinking that we will sign her up for that! She announced at dinner last night that she will be a "Chee-leader"...with her arms thrown up into a high-V!
4. Mommy is back to work! Summer is over and teachers are back in business. I love my job, but miss my kids terribly during the day. I know that once we get in to a routine, all will be normal again. When we all get home, I make sure our time together is quality!!

I will post pics later! When I sit down and upload them to my computer!!

The Lake!

My Best Friends family invited us to the lake in San Angelo. We had a great time. Britt's dad has a house there, so we had very nice accommodations. Wesley, Chloe, and Kaleigh had so much fun together.
Britt and I decided, after the guys spent all morning playing golf, that we deserved some shopping time. We went to some cute shops and ended up buying one thing...a chocolate truffle! It was worth it! We got home and found our kids doing this:
Braveness...what more can I say?

We are so blessed to have such good friends and good times!
